i'm vegetarian and never preach or rudely dispel my beliefs onto anyone eating flesh near me, but i haveto admit i can't sit at the same table with someone eating lobsters and crabs. the ripping of limbs from their poor wee dead bodies and the cracking, gnashing and sucking noises almost make me wanna crawl outta my own skin *shudder*. When I decided to become a vegetarian, creatures from the sea were the first thing to go...although, I barely wanted to eat anything from the ocean to begin with.
today i watched big ole crabs in a tank at the chinese market i go to near downtown. they were literally PILED inside, i wonder if the guys on the bottom were even alive. one of them was clambering over the rest of them, 'standing' on his back legs and stretching with his front legs, reaching out of the water. i think he was trying to escape. if i had a tank i would have bought him.
