...that's all that separates me and my friend's daughter.
Within the six degrees of separation we must know at least one person who is killed each day by senseless acts. It's mind-numbing to imagine.
I imagine my friend is shattered to the core, I have not spoken to him yet. The news just reached me today through mutual friends. We all worked in Lesotho. We have all wept for our losses, but to have it touch him is tragic-tripled.
My friend's 26 year-old daughter was killed in the London bombings.
My heart goes out to him and his family.
