I didn't mention this on yesterday's post; however, I think it's relevant enough to add today and it's all still very, very odd.
When I moved into my new house I actually disliked the mailbox: It wasn't a horizontal, shallow, 'normal' one; rather it was a vertical, clumsy, deep, gnarled-up, very old and weather-beaten one. I debated about actually buying a mailbox (never had to do that before) and decided to not bother (maybe one day I'd date a feller that was into carpentry and could make me a mailbox and paint it red).
Then, on Sunday...my mailbox was stolen. Nothing else in the front yard was even touched.
Who read my mind. Will they read it again? What else can I get them to do?
